I Wonder as I Wander

On my way to school today I noticed how quickly worms shrivel up. It only just rained yesterday, and yet the sidewalk is decorated with once-slimy specimens that now resemble crunchy chow mein noodles.

This reminds me a story of my oldest sister. When she was little, one day she proudly proclaimed to my Dad, "Hey Dad, when you keep worms for a really really long time, they turn into sticks!"
