Observations from an Office Window
It was just a normal day at work. I made phone calls, replied to emails, made copies, and printed labels. All normal. Unfortunately, so are paper jams. Which also happened. I battled the evil printer, I tore off those tiny pieces of paper in an attempt to remove the paper, I even found out I could lift another part of the printer and easily remove the paper...mehh.
I contemplated throwing my printer out the window.
Instead I just looked out my window.
Much to my pleasure I was able to catch sight of a boy walking along the edge of a fountain. Sandwich in left hand, phone in right, he was jabbering away like a little school girl. From my second story gaze, I was able to catch sight of a good sized piece of sandwich fly out of his mouth. Sick. (Though he did feed the birds and they seem to like regurgitated things). I don't think he noticed but its remarkable I saw it from the distance I was standing.
Moral of the story: If you remove the toner from the printer the paper is much easier to access to fix the jam.
Or don't talk with your mouth full.
And never talk with your mouth full while removing the paper from a paper jam (unless you take out the toner first).
Let this be a lesson to all of us
